The story centers on Izara’s internal conflict: should she stick to her principles or succumb to her grandmother Bok Miah’s dark persuasion? Played by Khatijah Tan, Bok Miah believes her black magic should be used to ease her descendants’ lives. But Izara, who values hard work and integrity, resists—until her personal and professional life begins to unravel, including her marriage to Aidan (Niezam Zaidi).
